1. How can I get information about routes and schedules?

All information about routes and schedules is posted online. You can also call 318-221-RIDE, Monday through Friday between 6 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and on Saturday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The information window at the SporTran terminal is open Monday through Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon, and from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

2. How many buses does SporTran operate? How many buses are there per route?

SporTran operates about 50 buses with as many as three operating on a single route at one time. Different numbers of buses operate on routes depending on day of the week and time of day. The number is determined by the demand for service at a particular time.

3. How will I know when my bus is scheduled to leave the terminal?

Departure times are listed at each terminal bay. The time indicates when the bus will leave on that route's next trip.

4. Is there a fee for schedules or system maps?

Standard maps and schedules are free of charge.

5. When do buses start operating in the morning? How late do they run?

 You’ll need to look at a schedule for the route(s) you’ll be riding to get exact times. All routes end their weekday schedule at 5:45 PM

Monday through Saturday night service continues until after midnight with the last buses leaving the terminal at 11:45 p.m. The routes are not the same as the day routes so you will need to check the night service routes and schedules. Printed ones are available at the Intermodal Terminal.

6. Which bus passes by Pierre Bossier Mall?

7. What areas of Bossier City are serviced by Sportran?

The perimeter of service is as follows: as far north as I-220, as far east as Louisiana Downs, as far south as BAFB, and as far west as Red River to include the downtown Shreveport terminal. See Bossier Routes 5, 16, & 19 as well as the Night Schedules
